Have you noticed? Someone was not too happy but later on we chatted quite friendly.

One of the cranes is one of the world’s biggest and can lift more than 1345 us tons. It was used by the company Intel to lift trusses weighing about 100 tons and 130 feet long.

Chandler

My own week end is 57 days long! So in the meantime there will be one picture a day.
First the White Mountains with my dear half and then I will escape to France.
Have a safe summer full of sun and happy surprises.

Black widows

Photobucket
Chandler
They are starting to re-emerge. We can easily spot them at night with a torch; they are recognizable by their erratic web and their red belly hourglass tattoo. Females are highly venomous, males are smaller and harmless.
We have quite a few during the summer in our basement’s wells which offer a cool place to be.

Oranges on blue paper

Orange
Chandler

Oranges are already picked; last lemons and grapefruits are on their way out. Pomegranates start blushing. Figs are ready to eat and delicious with goat cheese.
How lucky we are!

Chandler, Arizona Av. Queen Creek
Every time I meet someone who has lived for a while in Chandler I show this picture. No one has a clue what it was or what it is for… I’ll keep asking.
