Sweet tooth

536
At home, 2010

I got caught yesterday when I was told that it was “National Chocolate Chip day!” I baked before I went verifying…
Anyway these are a win win at home. What are the most popular cookies in your household?

I am going to get an oven soon, and although Yorkshire (England) 'Parkin'is I believe the best cake in the world, it is not a cookie. I do have a sweet tooth and want to know how to make the cookies in your picture. Any chance? Came to you from Abe Lincoln via Willow the poet. Take care, Bob

One of our daughters who moved back home two years ago (she picked a gay husband she knew she could change) and our granddaughter made some cookies late yesterday. And among them were my favorites.

It used to be old-fashioned Sugar Cookies.

Now it is Snicker Doodles. She makes them, mostly for me. My wife of almost 55 years has no idea what is even in them. She doesn't like them.

Either peanut butter cookies or Tollhouse cookies. But I'll eat other kinds of cookies, too. :-)

Oreos, so obviously I don't have to bake. But when should we come over for some of yours??

Oh, yum...I am sure glad I didn't know it was Chocolate Chip Day....but why wait...?

I have been making strawberry shortcake, using up the yummy strawberries in season now.

Yummy photo. I'd like one with my coffee!
I don't buy or make cookies around here. I'd eat them all!
