A lot of worries : since when do birds wait for the red lights to cross the road ?
Is spoiling the earth with our laws a sign of our human madness?

Beaucoup d’inquiétude : depuis quand les oiseaux attendent-ils les feux de passer au rouge pour traverser ?
Signe de notre folie humaine que de contaminer la terre entière avec nos lois ?

Fast growing trees which require quite a bit of water that is why we don’t see them anymore as much around here. Yes once upon a time there was more water around Phoenix.
During spring capsules release a cotton like substance which explain the name of the tree.

Des peupliers qui poussent vite, qui demandent beaucoup d’eau c’est pourquoi on les voit de moins en moins autour de Phoenix. Oui il y avait plus d’eau dans le temps.
Au printemps les capsules lâchent une substance semblable au coton d’où le nom de l’arbre.

The desert

When I walk in the desert
the birds sing very beautifully
When I walk in the desert
the trees wave their branches in the breeze
When I walk in the desert
the tall saguaro wave their arms way up high
When I walk in the desert
the animals stop and look at me as if they were saying
"Welcome to our home"

Le désert

Quand je marche dans le désert

Le grand saguaro ondule ses bras tout là haut

Endurance

Tempe,

Most of the roads were blocked in Tempe this morning due to the Ironman triathlon.
The Ironman Arizona Triathlon started this morning at 7am and gives more than 2000 athletes till midnight to complete a 2.3 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run.
* In the background two bridges: the Light rail bridge and the Railroad bridge.

La plupart des routes étaient bloquées ce matin à Tempe à cause du Triathlon Ironman.
Le « Ironman » d’Arizona donne à plus de 2000 athlètes, partis ce matin à 7 heures, jusqu'à minuit pour compléter un parcours à la nage de 3.7 kilomètres, en vélo de 180 kilomètres et pour finir un marathon de 42 kilomètres.

* A l’arrière plan deux ponts : le pont pour le train léger et le pont de chemin de fer.
